2. Poor Body Rotation
The biggest error in made in the golf swing is the inability
to rotate the body correctly. No matter what theory a person tries to follow there is only one way to create effective power.
Effective power begins with the starting of the hips in the down swing. Bio-mechanically, the hips are the keys to power when
used properly. As the hips begin the down swing the shoulders should follow with the arms following the shoulders.
If the shoulders lead the down swing the usual result is poor
swing path and loss of power. This is the classic outside to inside swing path resulting in pulls and slices if the ball is
hit solid.
When the hips start forward with a slide it usually results
in not hip rotation. This leads to an arm only swing without any power or control of the golf club. The hips should not slide
forward, they unwind leading to a straightening of the left leg allowing the right side to catch up and pass the left side
slightly. The faster the hips move, the swing will generate more power through speed.
Using the latest in technology, the Body Motion System. We
have studies show the average professional golfer is 27 degrees open with the hips at impact. The average golfer is hardly
open, averaging about 6 degrees.
After using the Impact Master Training Club
one session, studies using the Body Motion System show the hip rotation of the golfers immediately improves 15%. One can then
conclude if the Impact Master Training Club is used as part of any improvement program hip rotation
improves drastically providing the ingredient necessary to create more power in the golf swing.
